The Residence
The entrance hall is framed by stunning, original, stained-glass windows. Immediately upon entry, one feels the grandeur of the majestic home with original colonial woodwork to doorframes and windows, oversized archways, towering ceilings, several wood burning fireplaces and a country style kitchen.
The drawing room (38m2) is generous in proportions and provides a comfortable central space for guests to entertain or unwind. Adorned with a pair of large crystal chandeliers, oversize ornate working fireplace, antiques & luxurious velvet furniture, guests may choose to share a wine, read a book or perhaps ‘tickle the ivories’ on the piano.
Double casement doors lead through to the formal dining room with a beautiful table setting for 12, hand painted decorative art on the walls, a beautiful chandelier, and an oversize ornate working fireplace. This makes for an elegant atmospheric dining space. Fine china, silverware and crystalware are available for your use.
The house will accommodate up to 10 guests with 5 bedrooms in an entire home booking, or bedrooms may be booked separately for smaller group sizes or singles/couples.

Mansion
The magnificent historic mansion is situated in the township of Yankalilla, on the beautiful Fleurieu Peninsula -1 hour South of Adelaide.
Beach & Pool
The beach is 5 minutes drive but you also have your own private pool.
Renovated
The grand heritage building is newly restored to a luxurious standard. The mansion is not just stately, it has been balanced with modern comfort.
The Rooms
Plenty of space with 5 large bedrooms, 4 bathrooms (3 of which are brand new) and two large reception rooms plus two dining rooms and a large eat-in kitchen.

Each room is beautifully dressed with gorgeous quality furniture & antiques. Every bed is dressed in fine linen.
The Grounds
The grounds are a wonderland with many ponds, ancient trees, arbours, wisteria walk & a courtyard which makes you feel like you are in Tuscany. Your senses will awaken as you stroll around the private park.
The Bridal Suite
The Bridal Suite (53m2)
Originally the Billiard room, this wing represents the epitome of old-world grandeur. Contained within its 14 foot ceilings, 14 inch stone walls, and dressed with matching crystal chandeliers and antique furnishings, a king sized grand four-poster bed welcomes a deep and restful sleep like no other.
Lovingly referred to as the Bridal Suite, this room has a lovely sitting area for allowing the bridal party sufficient space and an opulent bathroom to prepare for the big day. The outlook from the large windows to the magnificent heritage listed Morton Bay fig trees and front lawn.
This suite includes a generous luxury bathroom walk-in-shower with large rainfall shower-head, and heated towel rails for added luxury and a double ended free-standing bath looking out upon the wisteria arbour.
The Honeymoon Suite
The Honeymoon Suite (42m2)
A separate wing, added to the original residence by Frederick Graham in the 1890’s provides an escape of solitude. This suite boasts a large and elegant bedroom, with king sleigh bed framed by the decorative wall paneling and original fireplace.
A separate private lounge with hand-painted chinoiserie on the walls, is filled with antique furniture and a flat screen TV. A separate ensuite with heated towel rails is provided off the hall leading to a private garden area.
Additional amenities include bath robes, small fridge & tea/coffee making facilities, large flat-screen TV (free to air channels), separate entrance.
The Royal Suite
The Royal Suite (33m2)
An original ballroom, this suite is a large room with old-world opulence. A king-size wooden bed, lit from a crystal chandelier, wakes to a pair leather armchairs. Original gas sconces have been converted to electric lights, and allow the romance of travel from years gone by. This suite is adjoined by a contemporary ensuite and associated amenities.
The Master Suite
The Master Suite (29m2)
A large bedroom with a king bed, antique furniture and a seating area with a lovely plush carpet. The window from this room looks across through the Wisteria to the lawn once hosting local croquet games. This room contains a large chesterfield sofa to allow for a quiet retreat for a book or movie. This room utilises a shared contemporary bathroom with walk in shower.
The Deluxe Suite
The Deluxe Suite (18.5m2)
A good size room with a king bed, casement window and doors and elegant fireplace. The view is beautiful overlooking the manicured front lawns and Morton Bay fig trees. This room utilises a shared contemporary bathroom with walk in shower.
